Telecom giant Reliance Jio recorded double-digit growth in bottom line for the quarter ending March 31.
The telecom giant Reliance Jio Q4 profit rose by 24% on a standalone basis to Rs. 4,173 crore compared to a profit of Rs. 3,360 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.
Standalone revenue from operations stood at Rs.20,901 crore increasing by 20.4% in Q4FY22 compared to Rs.17,358 crore a year ago same period. Q4 revenue logs single-digit growth of 8.03% sequentially.
During the quarter, the company’s ARPU stood at Rs. 167.6 per subscriber per month recording a healthy 21.3% yoy and 10.5% qoq growth.
In Q4FY22, total data traffic stood at 24.6 billion GB up by 47.5% yoy, while voice traffic climbed by 16.8% yoy to 1.2 trillion minutes.
Further, the company’s gross subscriber addition continued to remain strong with total gross adds of 35.5 million in Q4 FY22 with sustained traction in mobility and FTTH businesses.
As of March 31, 2022, the company’s total customer base stands at 410.2 million. While total data traffic recorded a growth of 46.3% yoy to 91.4 billion GB during the year, and total voice traffic jumped 17.9% yoy to 4.51 trillion minutes in the year.
For the full year, standalone Reliance Jio’s PAT jumped to Rs. 14,817 crore against Rs. 12,015 crore in FY21. Revenue advanced to Rs. 76,977 crore as of March 31, 2022, compared to Rs. 69,888 crore as of March 31, 2021.
On a consolidated basis, FY22 PAT stood at Rs.14,854 crore versus Rs.12,071 crore in FY21. Revenue comes at Rs.77,356 crore against Rs.70,127 crore.
